Moderate but extensive bruising and swelling is experienced by some dogs. No drainage noted. This is a variation of normal. This dog is at 72 hours. No additional action necessary.
Normal swelling that occurs in hocks (ankles) after surgery. This is day 3 for this dog who had bilateral knee surgery.
